Athletics Northern Territory affiliate with Coles Little Athletics Australia

Coles Little Athletics Australia (LAA) is delighted to announce that Athletics Northern Territory is once again affiliated with LAA.

Both organisations are delighted to officially be reunited.

Coles Little Athletics Australia Chief Executive Officer Martin Stillman stated “Little Athletics commenced discussions with Athletics Northern Territory (ANT) in August 2016 and have been working through the affiliation model for ANT. The LAA were unanimous in the vote to affiliate ANT and LAA now have eight affiliated states associations and territories consistent with the country’s senior athletic body.”

“LAA see the Northern Territory as a valuable associate of Little Athletics and there is so much scope to grow and develop athletics in the Northern Territory. Importantly the NT want a consistent Little Athletics program that’s offered to the 550 centers and clubs across our other seven affiliates and I have no doubt this will have a positive impact on their registrations and retention rate.”

Athletics Northern Territory Executive Officer Shane Wylie said “We are very proud to welcome Little Athletics back to the Northern Territory. We see athletics as the foundation sport upon which all others are built and we see Little Athletics as a vital component in delivery to our youngest sportspeople. We are certain this partnership, which aligns the sport nationally, will see continued growth of the sport we love”
