Little Athletics is not just about our weekly program at our centres.
Did you know…
- We have a Little Athletics Program for Schools (LAPS), where we will come to your school and teach the students (and teachers!) about the fundamental movement skills of running, jumping and throwing, and also about how to do each of the athletics events?
- You can also get a feel for Little Athletics by participating in the games-based athletics program through the Active After-School Communities (AASC) program? Check out the AASC website for further information.
- On any given week across the country, we have around 100,000 Little Athletes participating? We also have around 50,000 adult volunteers helping at our centres each week. We can’t provide Little Athletics without the help of these wonderful volunteers, and we offer a range of coaching and officiating education courses for these volunteers.
